Solenoid Control valves are designed to allow maximum water flow over a wide range of pressures. The internal diaphragm allows smooth opening and closing, preventing problems with surge hazards and water hammer.
The System Solenoid Valve is used in series with the Main Water Shut off valve of a dwelling. The Solenoid valve must never replace the operation of the main water shut off valve.
Solenoid valves are suitable for both interior and exterior installation and may be situated in any plane, vertical or horizontal.
Both incoming and outgoing ports of the solenoid valve are threaded NPT female connections.
